Important legal notice. Under the ADA, no certification or registration is required for a service dog, and businesses may not demand documentation. This certificate attests only that the named dog has passed PawProof's training assessment standards.

Prepare your team information

Tell us where you are located, which subjects you need, and whether you already have a trainer who knows the dog.

Choose or invite an eligible trainer

Choose from the PawProof directory or invite your trainer. We accept current CPDT-KA, CPDT-KSA, IAABC, KPA-CTP, and AKC CGC Evaluator credentials that can be independently checked.

Submit endorsement and footage

The assessor provides a signed endorsement and subject-specific footage. A vaccination record is required before review can begin.

Receive a decision

Approval triggers record issuance. If the assessment does not meet the published standard, you receive a written gap summary and a full refund of the assessment fee.
