Information collected
Depending on the workflow, PawProof may collect contact information, U.S. location and shipping details, dog information, vaccination records, trainer credentials, insurance proof, endorsements, assessment footage, scoring records, review decisions, and payment transaction references.
Do not submit disability details, diagnoses, medical records, or other health information unless the platform specifically requests it for a lawful and disclosed purpose.
How information is used
- Check service-area and workflow eligibility.
- Verify trainer credentials and manage the assessor directory.
- Review assessment evidence and issue or maintain records.
- Prevent fraud, investigate complaints, and support payment disputes.
- Send operational notices, renewal reminders, and requested waitlist updates.
Public verification record
Only the dog's name, registration number, issued subjects and status, dates, assessor name and credential type, and handler surname initial are public. Full names, contact details, disability information, video, and veterinary records are not public.
Retention
Assessment footage, endorsements, score sheets, credential checks, and decision records are retained for at least five years after issuance or decision. Other information should be kept only as long as required for the stated purpose, legal obligations, fraud prevention, or dispute handling.
Service providers and disclosure
Information may be handled by infrastructure, object-storage, payment, email, shipping, security, and professional-service providers acting for the platform. PawProof does not sell sensitive assessment or health-adjacent information.
Your requests
A verified request process for access, correction, deletion, or appeal will be published before public launch. Some records may be retained where necessary for legal compliance, fraud prevention, or the integrity of issued verification records.
Security and scope
Files are separated from public records and access is limited by workflow role. No system can guarantee absolute security. This preview is intended only for U.S. operations and is not an international privacy policy.
This draft is an implementation baseline, not legal advice. It requires counsel review before public launch, including Washington My Health My Data Act and applicable state privacy requirements.
