For professional trainers

Help make verification
worth checking.

Apply free. PawProof reviews every credential manually, then activates approved assessors in the directory.

Before you apply

PawProof is a platform, not a school.

PawProof does not train dogs, sell training, or employ trainers. We verify credentials, review assessment evidence, and keep the public record. Training stays entirely with independent trainers and organizations — so verification is strict.

AIndependent trainers — what we verify1) A current professional certification, checked against the issuing body: CPDT-KA, CPDT-KSA, IAABC, KPA-CTP, or AKC CGC Evaluator. No U.S. state licenses dog trainers, so applications are open from all 50 states and D.C. — certification replaces a state license. 2) Working contact details (phone and email) that stay on file and reachable.
BTraining organizations — what we verify1) Which certified trainers belong to the organization and the state(s) where they work — each roster trainer is credential-checked individually. 2) The organization's registered legal name. 3) Organizational qualifications: business registration, a facility or boarding-training license where the home state requires one, and liability insurance.
01Evidence integrityNo endorsement without complete footage and an honest assessment result.
02Independent business readinessW-9, insurance, and professional service practices.
03Language disciplineNo claim of government, ADA, or guaranteed public-access approval.
